Last monday, we visited TCM, the #1 cart manufactuer in Canada, and the #2 cart manufactuer world-wide.  Bob Midget, a designer here, showed us how cart manufacuters work.  A few features they have in their carts are molded cupholders, anti static strips, etc.  They measure the actual carrying capacity through their "Green Boxes" (This model can fit three green boxes, this other one however carries five green boxes). They create carts for shops Loblaws and Walmart.  They also recycle old carts into new parts. We came here for our automatic shopping cart idea, and got Bob's opinion on the idea.  TCM actually attempted to make a cart like this in the past, but ran into budget troubles.  The parts needed to make a cart fold up into a trunk were just too expensive.

The following meeting was basically just debriefing TCM and sorting out the information that we've gathered from it.
