We  are a team of 7 boys ranging from 10-14.  We were all new to each other  this year and we have become fast friends.  We have had so much fun  together.  There haven't been any issues for us other than we only meet  once a week and don't see each other otherwise.  We have a forum that  allows us to keep in touch and share information.
We did our project  on Chicken and identified some cross-contamination issues that helped us to find  our innovative solution.  We had a trip to McDonald's to see how they dealt  with cross-contamination issues which was very interesting. Our solution was  tested by our mothers (maybe some fathers too!) for a couple of months which  helped us in our research.
We won at the Halton Regional competition  and advanced to the Provincial competition.  We had a great day at the
competition and placed 2nd overall in the WEST division!  We were given an  invitation to the North American Open in Florida and are very excited about  travelling there in early May.
**We had a super awesome time in Florida.  Our robot placed 5th out of 64 teams which for a rookie team was fantastic!  We won an award and made the final round of the blind pirate alliance match!  It was a great experience!
