Ontario Provincial Tournament

2/4/2012

Picture
We went to UOIT ( University of Ontario Institute of Technology) for our Provincial Tournament. It was a blast! We went to various judging rooms robot, core values, and project. When we completed our judging rooms, we watched our robot preform it's missions for the robot tournament .

Next, we were waiting anxiously on the bleachers for the closing ceremony. Many awards were presented such as core values award, robot design. We won robot preformance for scoring the highest and the champion award for the west side of Ontario! We went up on stage with the east champion team . There, we chose between 2 envelopes, 1 had a letter inviting a team to the world's and the other envelope had an invitation to the North American open in California or the open in Germany. We got the envelope that invited us to the opens. We were so thrilled to win provincials and to go ot the Open competition.

Later on, we got another choice to either go to the California or the new open in Florida. Soon, after, we all agreed that we wanted to go to the California open. So now we are all trying hard to prepare our project, robot and core values and fundraise for the open in California!
