The Body Forward Research Project

The Body Forward season, project challenge, was for teams to find a bio-engineering solution to a  real-world problem with a body function, part or system.  The Sentinels identified finger pricking for glucose mainenance as an issue for people with Diabetes and decided they would design something that would eliminate the need for finger pricking.
Their project outline is below:
Many hours went into this research project and many revisions took place.  The team reworked their Sentinel's product between the Regionals and the Provincial competition  and then reworked it before the World Festival.  They found holes in their research and found new experts and visited old ones to get to the bottom of their solution.  Below is a video presentation of their Provincial Presentation.   They were limited to a 5 minute presentation in an innovative and creative way. This is a very hard thing to do when you have so much information.  They decided to do an episode of one of their favourite shows Dragon Den.  The presentation that went to World Festival was completely rewritten and learned 2 weeks before they left, they had done that much "new" research since Provincials.
